OHRA's Health Insurance: what's in it?

Choose your own healthcare provider
If you unexpectedly need care, you want to be helped by your preferred healthcare provider. The physio around the corner. Or the specialist clinic where you can get your care quickly. With the collective OHRA Health Insurance you have a combination policy. This means that you choose which healthcare provider you go to. If the costs are insured, the bill will be reimbursed in full in most cases. Sometimes a healthcare provider submits a bill that is disproportionately high. The law stipulates that this bill may not be reimbursed in full. Fortunately, this almost never happens. In addition, there are 2 exceptions. Do you use a non-contracted care provider within mental health care (GGZ) and district nursing (home care)? Then 75% of the bill is paid, taking into account the maximum rate.

Spread costs or save premium
Putting together a care package that suits your situation means more than the reimbursements for the care you need. It is also about the costs and the premium that go with it. That is why OHRA offers you the opportunity to spread your costs, or save on your premium. For example, you can pay your mandatory deductible in 10 installments. Or benefit from a 2% premium discount (also on the premium of your basic insurance!) if you pay the premium in advance per year.
